I’m back with another month of Trending! Last month was my first go at this new series (read it here!) and I had so much fun creating it. I had a great set up for my intense (face mask on while watching RHONY) research and I’ve really been looking forward to diving in this month for another day of research; so here we are!
February is a special month to me. It’s my birthday month, the month of love, and I oddly enjoy this stretch of cold/ gloomy winter; it’s cozy! Oh, and the Super Bowl is kind of a big deal.. Go Chiefs baby! Even if this month isn’t an exciting one in your eyes, it’s always fun to try out the new trends and venture out of your comfort zone with your style. Each new month, I focus on finding the hottest trends that are practical and appropriate; I find “splurge” options along with “save” options. There are so many possibilities with these pieces! Asymmetrical jeans might be my favorite trend this winter season?? I really like the look of them and I especially like the fact that we’re still playing around with the high waisted fad. I’m very against bringing back the low rise jean trend!

I’ll admit, it was hard to grasp this trend at first but I can confidently say that I finally like it! It was very 80’s-glamour to me but it’s actually cute when styled correctly! I love a padded shoulder tee in a creamy color with jeans.

Pleated Skirt
How cute does Delaney Childs look in this outfit? Tennis skirts are IN right now and it’s obviously because they look adorable on everyone. I’m not sure if I could pull it off yet (I’m not about to wear a skirt in a Nebraska winter) but it looks so good!
