Hello friends, I’m back with a new post, hooray! I have been patiently waiting to get this published because I am so excited to share these incredibly modern, luxurious at home wet bars with the world. While my boyfriend and I are currently living in an apartment, we don’t have much space to have anything close to a bar let alone a space to entertain all of our guests in. We’re reaching that point in our relationship though where we are working very hard to move onto bigger and better things aka a HOUSE, so we can really throw down some parties. Having an at home wet bar is most definitely near the top of my ‘want list’ and also near the top of my boyfriend’s list… most likely under the in-home basketball court (yes, I’m rolling my eyes as I’m typing this). You already know that I am a fanatic for anything designed by Studio McGee and this fantastic wet bar is no exception. They really put emphasis on that Scandinavian-cozy-meets-modern-lux style and nail it every single time. My eye instantly goes to the natural white backsplash and the unfinished wood open shelving, the symmetry is outstanding in this wet bar!

I’m sure you’re picking up on the trend that I like… dark cabinets and gold hardware. GUILTY. Those two elements of design correlate to ‘modern luxury’ in my eyes so naturally, you will see a lot of it on my blog. I love so much about this modern farmhouse wet bar but I think I favor the obvious; the mirrored backsplash.

I’m mixing three of my favorite things right now, dark blue cabinets, a nice glossy finish, and gold! This elegant wet bar looks like it was taken straight from a hilltop castle in the French countryside. The mirrors all the way up the wall create the illusion of a larger space which is perfect for a compact wet bar at home.

I’m clearly the type of person who isn’t afraid of a little pattern. D+D Interiors went to town on this stunning downtown Denver (hiiii, that’s my city!) space. The backsplash works magically with the rest of the space and makes this simple wet bar extra dramatic and a center piece to the whole room.

This wet bar is similar to the wet bar a few photos above with the mirror-to-ceiling backsplash but this space is BOLD. This blue is deeper and captures the orange and gold tones better than a flat cabinet color. I love that this bar also has the vintage look to the mirrored backsplash and a gorgeous creamsicle countertop!

While I am very passionate about gold, dark counters, and moody styles — I can’t deny that I love a crisp and clean looking space. Just look at the wall… it looks like the countertop runs all the way up to the ceiling. We can’t ignore the nickel-plated open shelving too, it looks so luxurious hanging from the wall. Bravo!
